Utilities Department

The City of Butler Municipal Utilities include water, wastewater and storm water infrastructure, maintenance and services.

New residents will need to come to the utility department offices at 215 S. Broadway to fill out a utility application, submit a drivers license copy and pay a deposit of $200 (deposit rate effective July 11, 2024).

Municipal Utility bills are mailed by the first of every month and due on the 15th of the month.  Utility bills include service for water, wastewater (sewer) and garbage. For utility billing questions, contact the City Utility Office at (260) 868-5881 or [email protected]

Online utility payments can be made through Invoice Cloud bill pay service, please click on the "Utility Payment" Icon on the homepage to register and pay your bill. Customers may also use the outside drop box or come in to the city office to pay. As of 4/1/2024 the city no longer accepts Doxo for online bill payments. An after-hours payment drop is located next to the doorway of the Butler City Court entrance at 217 South Broadway for your convenience.
