Cory Rowe

Officer Cory Rowe graduated from Garrett High School in 2013. I graduated from college in 2016 with my associates’ degree in Criminal Justice. I began my law enforcement career at DeKalb County Jail in 2015 where I worked as a jailer. In 2016 I was hired as a full time Police Officer for the Butler Police Department. I graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in June of 2017. In 2022 I started to work part time as a School Safety Officer at Butler Elementary.

As a dedicated police officer, I am committed to serving and protecting my community with integrity, respect, and professionalism. With a strong sense of duty, I work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of those around me, whether through proactive patrols, community engagement, or responding to emergencies. I believe in building trust through transparency and communication, striving to be a positive presence in both the streets and the lives of those I serve.

My goal is to make a lasting difference in Butler, not only by upholding the law but by fostering a safer, stronger community for everyone. I enjoy working for the Butler Police Department because it offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community I call home.
